Service Description
Discover the satisfying art of linocut printmaking in this hands-on workshop with artist Morganne. Learn how to carve an image into a soft printing block, roll on ink, and transfer your design onto paper. You'll begin by experimenting with carving tools and techniques before creating two winter-inspired designs of your own. Choose from simple seasonal imagery, such as holly leaves and berries, a snow-covered tree, or a chickadee. Participants with previous printmaking experience are welcome to bring their own design ideas. Once your blocks are carved, the fun continues! Discover how a single carved image can be printed again and again. Experiment with combining and repeating your designs to create unique compositions, winter-themed prints, or handmade holiday cards. You'll leave with your carved printing blocks and a collection of original prints, along with the skills to continue exploring linocut on your own. No previous printmaking experience is needed. All materials are included. Sunday, November 22, 2026 1:00-5:00 pm $75 per person Adults 18+
