Service Description
Get to know Canadian folk artist Maud Lewis and enjoy creating your own painting inspired by her much-loved Three Black Cats. Maud found inspiration in animals, flowers, and the everyday world around her. Her colourful, imaginative paintings invite us to appreciate small things and enjoy making art without worrying about getting every detail “right.” In this relaxed two-hour workshop, Morganne will share a short video and a little about Maud’s life and work before supporting you through your own painting. There will be guidance to help you get started and room to make it your own. Whether you’re trying painting for the first time or finding your way back to it, join us for a little learning, a little conversation, and the pleasure of making something with your hands. Thursday, November 12 | 1:00–3:00 pm $45 per person No previous experience needed. All materials are provided.
