About the event
After the Harvest: An Autumn Sound Bath is an intimate 75-minute experience with Laura Notton, MSW, RSW, Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner, featuring a brief offering of poetry by Wesley Rickert.
Held just after Thanksgiving, After the Harvest takes its inspiration from the time when the fields are empty, the days grow shorter, and we begin to turn inward. It offers a space to pause and reflect on what the year has brought, what we have gathered along the way, and what we wish to carry forward.
The session begins with a body scan, breathwork, and vocal toning to help you settle into the space and tune into your internal experience. From there, you will be immersed in a soundscape featuring quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong, voice, and ambient composition, thoughtfully layered to encourage deep listening to both the sounds around you and your body's response.
